I love these old vans!

http://westky.craigslist.org/cto/3613506477.html

My family always had these vans for our carpet and furniture business back when I was a kid. I longed to own a cool van with a mountain painted on the side when I was a kid. This one would fit the bill sans mountain shot.

I love these old vans!

Twogone - Based on past experience I have found that if I see something I want and then can no longer find where I saw it, it is best not to get it.

Re: I love these old vans!

@larrie There is certainly some wisdom in your comment... and I really do appreciate your helpful thoughts. However, I have maintained a lifelong allergy to wisdom.

As an art gallery owner (99% fail within 24 months. Against all stats, advice, and, well wisdom, we have been doin' it since we started up in 1997), we have decided, through our experience, that if you wake up tomorrow and are still thinking about a piece, prolly oughta buy it, 'cause you'll be sad when the one-of-a-kind thing is gone.

I called and emailed on the van this morning, no reply yet... I'm 40% hoping it has already sold.

How do other forum folks vote on this "project"?

Re: I love these old vans!

It would look even better with cow-hide interior. Just sayin'.
