Looks like the ad from when I purchased my van. 1 crappy exterior picture and barley any info about the van. Could be a gem like mine though

I agree, sometimes those are the best ones to look into further as many have passed it by because of the terrible info and shots. A little leg work can go a long way.

Re: 1997 Chinook 4x4 RV

The only issue I see with this nook is that the interior is going to be that hideous green. I am looking to move from my van to a chinook so have been watching these. To my knowledge there are currently four 4x4 chinooks for sale. Years ranging from 97 to 04. Prices ranging from $36k to $70k.

Two on RV Trader: http://www.rvtrader.com/Chinook-RVs-and ... rid&page=1

Black one on ebay: http://www.ebay.com/itm/RARE-2002-CHINO ... Vs_Campers

and then there is this one that I don't believe is 4x4 but I hope it is based on their asking price:

Re: 1997 Chinook 4x4 RV

If you want to pay Ramsey or Chris to convert one for you there is a Chinook with the 7.3 diesel available right now. It is the only diesel nook in the country I know of for sale and is owned by a past sportsmobile owner. He is getting rid of it because he just purchased the ER2K.

The 7.3 would be the right platform in my mind to turn the larger tires and retain mpg's over 12.

Nice, I especially like the black one. It's one of the least obnoxious ones that I've seen. Too hard to tell from the pics if there are front hubs or not.
