2013 e350 eb quigley

http://www.truckpaper.com/listingsdetai ... ID=5520711

I've been searching for the right van and came across this one. the story is it was a border patrol van in Arizona. they put 75k on it before they overheated the motor. I checked the vin at a ford service and sure enough the heads went. a new motor was installed and the unit was sold.

so it has a fresh 5.4 with a 3 year warranty. not a bad price but I think this guy would come off it a bit.

me? I decided against a 4x4 as I just don't think i'll ever use it and purchased an 07 pueblo gold e350 eb with a 5.4 and only 15k miles. yes it has the sliding door. and it spotless.

Good luck with any/all of your decisions!! iF you don't want the 'hefty' 4x4 SMB puts in, I HIGHLY recommend Quadvan to put the 4x4 unit in….it essentially a 350 4x4 unit vs. SMB's 550 (to be VERY BASIC in how it was explained to me…some of the experts on here, and as you know EXPERTS, could do a much better job explaining) I know you said no to 4x4, but if you can swing the extra $'s and aren't necessarily going to go rocking it, it will get you in , through, and around many places a 2x2 could (maybe) go, but with great hesitation and maybe eventually abandoning what could have been an awesome place very very few people visit, let along photograph. 4x4 is a great piece of mind, and try checking out Pschitt's gallery, a motivation to go places you might only DREAM of!!!!!! Also check out this site: http://www.dangerousroads.org….anothe MOTIVATOR for 4x4!!!!

Re: 2013 e350 eb quigley

thx ctb. you raise some great points. exactly why I stayed with a 2wd. I chatted in length with chris from ujoint about the possibility of adding the 4wd. I have the technology to do a conversion, along with a shop to do it in. and its something I would like to do. chris's kit and excellent instruction would make it an easy build. and its something I can do any time.

at any rate, i agree, getting out there is what its all about.
