2006 EB50(ish?) with 4 captains chairs - $25,000

I saw this posted on the SMB North pre owned page. Some people are looking for forward facing seating for the family so I thought I would post this up. Seems like a pretty good price since its a newer model with starcool AC, awning, and tracks installed. No mention of propane and no water.

Interesting. Looks like an EB50, with the stove and sink removed, the associated cabinets/counter deleted, and the fridge moved rearward, in order to fit in the captains seats. Not a bad compromise.

Re: 2006 EB50(ish?) with 4 captains chairs - $25,000

This has been on there for a while. I emailed Nancy at SMB-N about it a month or so ago, and here is some additional info she sent me. I asked for more pics, but they never got sent and I dropped it. As an aside, I don't know why SMB doesn't put more pics on their website ads. For what they charge to post a sale they should post more than 4-5 pics.

From SMB about this van:

"The 2nd chairs are removable – but they don’t swivel. It doesn’t have propane stove or heater. It does have an inverter with two batteries. It has a refrigerator and microwave and our rear A/C. There isn’t an underfloor storage compartment. None of the items can be added to this unit. When you purchase used, you purchase as is."

Part of me wonders if the bolt that was installed on all my Captains seat bases isn't just installed on these? Each one of mine had a single bolt installed (for shipping purposes, for liability reasons,...?) and once removed the seats could swivel.

I agree. Some ads, there are tons of pics, but others there are only a few. I wonder if it has to do with whether they have the vehicle on hand or if the vehicle is with with owner.

With ads out of Texas you can click More Info and get a lot more photos. Seems they are the only ones that figured that out.

I think they all have the "more info" link that takes you to a stand alone page, but usually there are the same pics there, or maybe a couple more. They are fairly small and aren't clickable to enlarge, either.

If they didn't charge $1500-2500 to advertise your van it wouldn't be such a big deal, but for that kind of fee they should provide a better web presence IMO.

Which is why you call SMB Austin, or West when Nancy is at lunch or whatever. It's not like they even see the vans they sell, they're just blindly listing them and taking the seller's word for mileage, condition and everything else.

Not entirely true.. They require a pretty thorough multi hundred dollar inspection at a dealer before they will list it.

Some are in the possession of the SMB location, others are in the owners possession. It usually clearly states on the ad. For ones that SMB has they charge $1000 more to sell it and they look it over.
