claims he's got 2 of them. Don't know if they're off a van or box van. The look like full floaters, can't see the rear tag so I don't know the final drive ratio, 4:10s maybe ??? Can't tell if Dana 60 or 70 but I'm sure someone more knowledgable than myself would know for sure. They're the newer ones since they have disc brakes.

Loos like a standard van-width Dana 70 (i believe the 60 has less gusset webbing around the pumpkin). So probably out of wagon, or possible a SRW/mid-tank cutaway.

If its from a van, it could be 3.55 or 4.10 but if its from a cutaway it will be 4.10.

Can these newer (disc-brake-equipped) HD rear axles be installed and made to "play nice" with the ABS system on an older (1995) E250?

My 1995 Ford E250 RB30 SMB has drums in back, and I would love to upgrade to rear discs (and a limited-slip diff!) rear, if it's possible to do and still maintain correct ABS operation.

The ABS relies on the speed sensor on the top of the differential housing - they are the same and you should have no problem with the exchange.

So what else is required to switch to a disc-brake rear end from a drum brake equipped E-van of the 1994+ era? I have a 1998... I'm assuming a different master cylinder and lines?
