Re: Is this a fair price?

Seems fair. Rough math if you were to build it out yourself:

$10,000 base van with that kind of mileage
$13,000 Quigley conversion
$5,000 aluminess bumpers
$1,000 tires
$800 rims
$2,500 paint

Re: Is this a fair price?

I think for that price, I would rather buy a 2wd van and have it converted to 4x4 with the company of your choice. Then you'd have brand new front end components.

Personally I think it's a little high but not out of the ball park.

Re: Is this a fair price?

Wow...sure does look cool! But cool like some crazy MadMax dudes you'd meet at Burning Man that USED it ...and then put a beautiful paint job on it, under it, in it etc...I think maybe a little much since (as a member pointed out) high miles will equal work in the near future...but the only tell-tale sign I could notice from the pics (that's all we can go off eh?) is that 4x4 shifter is pretty used looking..the boot looks new (chrome not even scratched around boot, boot too clean)! Not to pick on the details, but that is a tell I could see! I can't believe they forgot to throw 5 minutes in and paint the stem/stick!! Otherwise, I agree mikracer...buy a CLEAN 2wd a respectable (retired ) couple owned and babied...then have Quadvan, or the converter of choice to do some work on it!

and no I am not retired yet, so that is why I am harder on Our Sporty...

Re: Is this a fair price?

It took me two years to find my van, but waiting got me a super-clean 2011 RB 5.4L with a poptop and 55k miles for $14,500.

No 4WD, but if I added it, I'd still be under $30k.

Re: Is this a fair price?

Found this one located in Phoenix. I don't know anything about it, just found it on CL.

http://phoenix.craigslist.org/evl/cto/5156448966.html

It has a pop top, new front end conversion, aluminess front bumper, and started interior. Doesn't mention who did the 4x4.

Re: Is this a fair price?

Wow! The one Mikracer found seems like a lot more van for the price.
