Dodge RAM wheels on E250 ?

Here we go with my first dumb question.
I could get a set of stock 16x8" alloys from a Gen2 Dodge RAM 4x4, the chrome polished ones.
They are already equipped with 245/75 tires.
I know that 245's came stock on some E250's, my '98 E250 2WD comes stock with the 225/75 on 16x7 steelies.
Will the RAM wheels fit, concerning center hole and backspacing ? I can't test fit them before buying them as they're too far away , though.
Anyone ever tried fitting RAM wheels on a E250 2WD ?

-Edith says: Never mind, I just learned that the centre bore is way too small on the Dodge wheels -

Actually, the center bore isn't the end of the world. You just take them to a machine shop and have them cut to 4.88".

QuadVan uses OEM Dodge wheels for their dually 4x4 conversions by having the centers re-bored, since 17" wheels are required for the larger brakes.

Re: Dodge RAM wheels on E250 ?

Well, that would be easy in the US.
Being in Germany you'll open a can of worms doing this, even hard enough to find a machine shop that would touch the wheels though.
Over here, you can get away with a set of wheels from another vehicle with the roundabout close gross axle weight, but machining a wheel and you're into complete testing where the re-test the wheels and therefor destroy at least 4 of them during the tests. So in this case, it'll be cheaper to get some aftermarket, or older (8x165.1) Ford wheels.
As for now, I'll put some 265/75's on the stock 7" steelies and add a 2" lift to the front end.
