Re: More brake questions
Just last October I upgraded my '03 E250 EB to '08 brakes, used nothing but OEM reman'd calipers direct from the local Ford stealership. Brake hoses also but opted for NAPA's Ultra Premium pads---pretty much same cost as OEM/Motorcraft.
I'm loaded about 7,500# as a daily driver and just over 12K miles the front rotors look almost unused--probably due the NAPA pads.

Re: More brake questions
I've heard nothing but good things about Napa's gold pads too.

Will they fit in the 16" Alum wheels?

There are a few threads here about this swap (I did it, too), that you might want to review.
The 2008+ brakes will fit in OEM 16" alloy wheels, but I don't know about aftermarket ones. I got a set of 2012 OEM Ford aluminum "mag" wheels from the same van I got the front-end/brake parts from.

Re: More brake questions
I was really just thinking about upgrading the rotor and pad with same size.
What the best plug and play upgrade out there.

none of the above
Really. I tried just about every combo before settling on a 2009 axle. The Napa ultra premiums will bite a little better than stock, at the expense of putting more heat into the rotors. I used to crack mine in as little as 6 months.

Re: More brake questions
If I knew what I know now, I'd of gone with 17" rims and the largest stock rotors, calipers and pads. Unfortunately 17" wheels were not really around in 2005, at least ones that held the weight and looks I wanted. But I did a swap to Brakeman rotors, and pads. I've been happy with them but they are a bit overpriced IMO.

Re: More brake questions
^^^ which slotted rotors, which hawk pads, and which ss lines? brands & model names (maybe even part numbers if you have that info?) please, im sure it will help out more than just myself
some hawk pads work great, some eat rotors like doritos. i think the hp+ ones are the rotor eating pads, but its been a long time since ive used any of their products.
