U Joint Issues??

I'm new to the SMB world and digging it!! I just bought a 2006 6.0 with only 18K on it. I have put about 5K on it in the last few months, all on the freeway (sadly) and have a jacked front U Joint. I don't see any other posts on here, so assuming just a bad one??

Thanks for any info!

Re: U Joint Issues??

For a second there, I thought you were having an issue with U Joint Offroad, which would have really surprised me.

So what do you mean by a 'jacked front U joint'? Is it frozen, or busted outright?

Welcome to the forum by the way.

Yeah, that's rare. I've had to replace my rear but the front get such low use...are you talking a driveline U-Joint?

Do you mean the front u-joint on the rear drive shaft, because "all on the freeway" would mean you are not using the front drive shaft - right?

Either way a new u-joint in a drive shaft is a minor thing. It is a little more of an issue if it is a steering u-joint in the front axle.
