Van chips...

Has anyone found a chip for the V10's that actually works? I was goofing around on eBay and found this. For $19.99 it can't really hurt too try this one:

http://pages.ebay.com/link/?nav=item.vi ... 1440527652

Anyone try this one or others?

Please excuse my negligence if this has already been a topic. I didn't search before starting this topic on my phone.

Thanks,
Tony

Re: Van chips...

I have a DP-tuner chip on my 7.3, not sure if they have anything for the V10. Lots of posts from people liking 5 star tuning. I know it's been talked about, do a search, should come up with some threads. Wouldn't mess around with a $20 eBay find, promising huge gains.

Why do you assume that it can't hurt? Why can't a poor chip cause engine damage?

Re: Van chips...

5 Star Tuning has a really good reputation for tuning the V10's. I wouldn't touch that ebay "chip".

If you want more power, you need at least good programmer like 5-star, and/or better breathing.

Re: Van chips...

The $20 chip is what sparked my original question. But I realize after, that my sarcasm didnt show thru the text.

I'll look into the recommended tuner. Thanks for the help!

I need to get my van and boat to the water faster and more efficient!

Don't take your van in the water! You'll lose performance.
Did my sarcasm come through?

Prepare for a lot of engaged fan noise.
