Recommendations for Yearly Oil Change?
I am having my yearly oil change done this Friday, and I am wondering what else should be inspected / lubed.
In addition to the oil change, does someone have a complete list of what to lube in the drive train?
The van is 2012 Sportsmobile 4x4 V10 with 18,720 miles on it. I am having the local Ford dealer do the work, and in the past they have been somewhat clueless / reluctant to do much work without specific instructions. They are still probably the best in this small town.
I couldn't find anything in a search, so thank you in advance!
Ed

You can enter in your van info here and it will bring up your maintenance schedule:

Re: Recommendations for Yearly Oil Change?
Check the air cleaner is about the only other thing I"d recommend at this time. Really, there's not much the V10 needs.

Re: Recommendations for Yearly Oil Change?
Have them grease anything with a zirc fitting, especially the drive shaft unless you have sealed u-joints.
With only 18,000 miles it might be worth checking that the differentials had a fluid change after the initial break-in. Transfer case too.

Re: Recommendations for Yearly Oil Change?
Getting to this thread kinda' late, but do you schedule your oil changes on a calendar basis, or miles driven?
I'm thinking that miles driven should be your determining factor?

That's the OASIS system. Usually helps to know someone at a Ford dealership to get (and decipher) the print out, but as the registered owner, they should provide it to you without any hassles.

Yes and yes. I firmly believe in annual oil changes, regardless of milage, because low miles often correspond with long-term parking or short trips, both of which can cause moisture to build up in the oil and promote corrosion.
