I was sure it was the 1 way valve and not the tank, so I removed the fender and drilled a hole in the innerfender so I could grab the valve and test it.
It wasn't the valve, so I made a new tank and plumed it into the front just behind the headlight and fusebox. IT was made out of what I had on hand, just PVC pipe.
The valve and reservoir are under all the AC & Heater crap on the engine side of the firewall. No way to get to them without pulling all the AC / Heater or drilling a hole. BUT, you can bypass the whole lot without drilling a hole. From the inside passenger footwell you will find a rubber hose entering from the engine bay. This is the outlet end of the reservoir & 1 way valve. In the engine bay just by all the AC gubbins, you will fine the same size rubber hose being fed down the bulkhead, this is the feed to the reservoir & 1 way valve. So, with a lot of playing you can run a new piece of pipe from the passenger footwell up to somewhere in the engine bay. (You will probably need a fish). One you have that run, cut the OEM pipe in the passenger footwell and splice the tube running up into the dash directly into the new pipe. In the engine bay, cut the OEM pipe as it runs down the fire wall, add a 1 way valve, then a T, one end of the T goes to the new pipe, the other to the new reservoir.
