alignment issues

A while back I had a new take off front end assembly installed on my 2wd van. The alignment had issues which I attributed to installing the wrong springs. After much procrastination I installed the MOOG 880s springs and took the van to be aligned again.

This is what we discovered while on the rack

Re: alignment issues

It appears the bushing was insert into its new home with the help of a very large hammer. What tipped us off with the install was that the bushing was only still installed by .5". It had worked it's way out even with the cinch bolt tight. Thank goodness it did not fall out.....would have torn some things up.

I know that most mechanics take pride in their work but sometimes chit happens, so please take a few seconds and check their work. After this was done I drove the van 500 miles home and she sat in the garage till last Wednesday.
