Request for Seattle area penthouse Sprinters to show.
Hello all,
I'm getting close to ordering a Sprinter to use for traveling and camping. I am hoping that there is someone willing to show me their sprinter Penthouse roof van. After Onefin's experiences I think that I should check out a penthouse equipped sprinter before I buy.
Re: Request for Seattle area penthouse Sprinters to show.
If you are ever in San Diego, and I still have the van; you are welcome to drive it.
If anyone else is local and serious about ordering a sprinter penthouse, please feel free to email me to set up a test drive.
I wish I would have had the opportunity to drive one before I bought one!

If you are ever in Orange County, you are welcome to check out our 2008 Penthouse Sprinter. We have 93000 miles on it and over 340 nights in the van. The top is electric and has been dead on reliable and never noisy. We are planning SportsMobile two if and when we wear this one out.

Man I was in Seattle all summer and would have loved to give you a grand tour! It stayed near U of W and I did some trips following family on STP and RAW out on the Olympic Peninsula. 2014 Sprinter with the manual poptop, rear bench and bath/shower compartment. Happy to answer any Sprinter-specific questions though.

Well.....I see that you're in Memphis. It just so happens that I am visiting family and flying into Memphis 12/25 to 12/31. I would love to see the pop top. E-mail me if interested.
Thanks,
Jon
Re: Request for Seattle area penthouse Sprinters to show.
Greetings, I may be in Washington in February and glad to give you a tour of my 2008 Sprinter RB (converted in2010). Although, I probably would go a a MB dealer for a test drive. The more important fun part is the interior design. I can offer many pictures of that.
I cruise the Pac NW every year and get always 'ambushed' by people on campgrounds. This is a very cool set-up and a regular body is the only car I own now.
Re: Request for Seattle area penthouse Sprinters to show.
Many thanks to Ned5555 for giving me the grand tour of his 2014 Sprinter Penthouse Sportsmobile. It is quite a remarkable RV! I will not hesitate to add a Sportsmobile Penthouse roof to a new Sprinter if my plans call for it. Quality was first class!
Re: Request for Seattle area penthouse Sprinters to show.
Happy to hear you loved it!
I have no clue what chain of events led to SMB west doing such an awful job on mine?
Jealous of all the people that got a quality effort from SMB west.
I hate mine.

If you were to do it again would you go penthouse or high roof?

Van two will be a Sprinter 4 wheel drive with a penthouse top. The penthouse gives you so much ventilation, light and height inside the van. Plus, if you sleep up top the view can't be beat.
