Passenger Side Pwr Window Kill Switch?

I have a small dog that likes to jump up on the drivers side armrest. When he does this, the window lowers or the door locks go up and down. It's annoying and other than leaving him at home, does anyone of a solution to this issue that has worked for them? I sawed off half of a paint roller and taped it over for this recent trip, but it does not look good. HELP....

There will be a single power feed wire for the switch block----interrupting it would be your kill switch.

The where to mount, how to wire etc greatly depends on your year and make of van.

Re: Passenger Side Pwr Window Kill Switch?

We had the same problem with our cat so I made this device using 1/2" PVC pipe:

It blocks both the window power switch and power door locks. I have another for the driver's side door when we need to leave him in the van (never when it is hot!) so that he won't accidentally unlock a door. The device doesn't bother my wife so she leaves it in all of the time but I remove the one for the driver's side and put it in only when needed.

Wow ^^^ that's very clever!

Even though its a passive device that needs slightly more effort putting it to use than a switch its a great way to accomplish this task.

Much easier: just educate your dogs!
