Good call gents....
The pic below is of the EcoTemp temporary installation from sometime back. I'll try to get a shot of the Triton in the next day or so. It's installed in the same place and only took a short time to make the swap.
Drove to Bishop this weekend to test it at altitue and get a couple pics of the fall colors.
I tried it as I moved around the area but got the best test of it when I drove up to the
top of the a White Mountains to see the Bristle Cone Pines. That's another story as it's amazining up there! If I remember correct I was getting a 30 degree rise above tank temp. I may have been able to get a lilt more rise but I had the flow rate dial set in the middle of it range and could not easily adjust it the way I had it temporarily installed.
Now that I am happy with it I will vent it to the outside and cleanup the install.
May even work on a return/recycle tube for the times it won't provide the correct rise immediately. And maybe a smaller feeder tank for that.
Took the Silver Canyon Road back down into Bishop which has me now conversing with Atlas Transfer Case about a new lower range unit. Got pricing today and am considering the purchase. Should make a new thread for this but i had to ride the brakes the entire way down. I would have liked to use gearing for most of that and kept the brakes as reserve. Any thoughts on this pros and cons?
