Vinyl over wood

Can't add much more to your question about the gaucho, but I'm curious as to how the vinyl over wood is working out for you, and a ball park cost number. Looks good now, but wonder about how how it will wear over time?

Re: Vinyl over wood

Anybody want a peanut?

Sorry, not much to add to your thread. We covered our door panels and walls with vinyl but it's not what you are asking.

I'm guessing this was supposed to be a reply to Wheelie's thread just below this one:
Interior advice needed and take a look at what I am doing.

Vinyl over wood is very durable. I used the same as what you would wrap the exterior of a car with.
Then I added a matte laminate overlay. didn't want glossy cabinets.

Overall for $85.00 in materials (including cabinet trim)

Oops! Relatively new on this forum and didn't notice how close together the "reply" and "new topic" button are.

Thanks for reading my mind so well. Will try to make sure my next mistake is an entirely new one.
