Parts Recommendation Please- Seat belt plastic arm thing-'93

Can anyone help me with a link to a parts supplier for a new plastic seat belt arm for the front passenger side?? Mine came broken and I'm sure the swivel seat caught it and cracked it at the base.

Here is a pic:

Good luck. No longer made by Ford. Horrible design in the first place and they are broken in every 96 back van I've ever been in, which is hundreds. It sucks but it's just a bad design and one of several older interior parts that are virtually impossible to find. Although I know you hate having it broken, it's almost more useful that way. They get caught on everything, especially with a swivel seat.

Sounds like a junkyard seek and find mission to me...

Yes sir. I had the same idea after reading 86's post.

I guess Ford 86'd that piece. It's a shame too; they could have made millions on them since everyone needs one or two!

I burn through zip ties to keep it erect. I'd like some rich guy to come along and manufacture one that is thick and rubberized to withstand the beatings. And to look cool. Anyone?

I apologize in advance for being juvenile, but so many things just wrong about this post!

My same thoughts, just wasn't brave enough to say so!

I took those arms out (both were broken) and threw 'em in the trash... I just leave the belts on the floor, under the seat, out of the way until I need 'em. PITA, but the arms are in the way.

That's what I've done in many work trucks. I tied them up to the side of the seats once or twice where they were more accessible, but that won't work in an SMB with swivel seats, and IIRC I popped holes in the seats fabric to do so and no one probably wants to butcher a good seat like that. The ones I butchered weren't mine.

I have two perfect ones in my current SMB. The bidding starts now, at $2000 per.

Oh, also, anyone who frequents salvage yards should do the greater SMB/van community a service and always look for pre 97 (older dash and interior) parts. The really hard ones to find that would be easy to sell are the seat belt supports mentioned above, door lock and window switches, entire door panels (not the custom van crap but OEM Ford panels), pop out rear windows, and any other small plastic trim parts such as rear door handles, trim plugs, etc. These are all defunct.
