Awning options?

Hi everybody

Ok so I'm new to all this and I'm working on my first DIY conversion van.

Now I'm looking at awnings...

I'll be adding a 6" High x 12'-3" Long roof rack on top and I want to bolt an 11' wide black awning on the side, I also don't want the legs to sit on the ground, I want them to be mounted on the side of my van.

After looking around on the web, I think these are my options.

-Fiamma F45
-Carefree Freedom
-Dometic Horizon

I'm having a hard time finding out who sells Fiamma in Canada or in the US, and the prices?

If you have any comments or other options don't hesitate, of course I'm also looking for the best deal out there $$$

Re: Awning options?

Those sound like good options. SMB can get you a Fiamma, as can many other van converters. CCV, Van Specialties, etc.

BTW, you're posting this in the appliances and interior section.

Re: Awning options?

As Eric said, good choices. GoWesty has a sale on Fiamma's right now.

You mentioned 11ft, iirc your choices are 10 and 12 with Fiamma and Carefree, not sure about Dometic.

Nice!

The message you have entered is too short. Please lengthen your message to at least 10 characters.

Yes it is.
It works great and seems well built, but it's the only awning I ever bought so I might not be the best reference :-/
