Front Hitch Photos?

Does anyone have a photo of a front hitch installed with a stock bumper? I'm trying to get a feel for where the hitch sits in relation to the bumper and how much clearance it takes away.

Thanks,

BB

Re: Front Hitch Photos?

I thought I had a straight-on shot but it eludes me. Let me know if you'd like me to take one. This angle actually makes it look like it hangs down lower than it does. It's pretty tucked actually. I have a Curt front hitch from Etrailer.

Re: Front Hitch Photos?

My van has a Salem Kroger conversion and has a front receiver with stock bumper. I can get a picture of that if it would help.

Re: Front Hitch Photos?

Is that the same hitch as the rear or do I need to order a front hitch?

Re: Front Hitch Photos?

Front hitches are usually different from the rear. If you still need a pic, I can take one of mine with my stock Ford bumper tomorrow (dark out now here on the East Coast). Mine sits up very tight to the bumper and is hardly noticeable, basically just the receiver box itself hangs down.

Totally different. Very common though. Cheaper than rear too. You can mail order a front for right around $100.

salivan: Where or how did you add that mesh to the bumper opening? I'd like to do something similar to mine.
