Line X Lower Rocker

Up here in Bellingham, WA I was wanting to get the lower rocker sprayed. I have so far gotten two quotes, one was $900 and the other was $700-1000. Those of you that have gotten yours sprayed what was the going cash price? Also does anyone have a referall North of Seattle?

In my area, I would say $800 is probably close. It would cost more if they did the painted top coat. I think this is why people have gone the Raptor Liner route, since you can buy all the tools and materials for less than the cost of Line X and get a similar result, but also get a compressor out of the deal.

Re: Line X Lower Rocker

There are a few other very good quality bed liner type materials that are DIY friendly. Usually for no more than $200 total you get enough product and related materials for more square footage than lower rocker panels.

$800-900 cost is a lot of labor--DIY eliminates that for the most part.

I've been intrigued but never used a product called MonstaLiner: http://www.monstaliner.com/. Besides being tintable its finished texture can be effected to suit the need or appearance. Worth looking into maybe.........

With the occasional sale you can get the Raptor Liner kit for less than $100. http://www.tptools.com/U-Pol-Raptor-Spr ... ,2600.html

We are too cheap - we have done several at $350.

It is an easy DIY job really. Raptor Liner or something like it is the way to go. ~$100 in product will be more than you will need.

Just to give you a perspective Raptor lining the top cost me less than $200 in material and it comes with the gun. Me and Tapatio knocked it out in about 2 lazy afternoons.

$1,000 (in 2012) for the rockers (black) and the first 8 inches or so of the hood (white).

Re: Line X Lower Rocker

Any cons to the Line X on the lower rocker? Have an appointment Friday to have it done at a really great price. I thought the black and tan combo would look sharp, also getting the procomp 5001 wheels too.
