Mirrors for the E-350 for Towing

My Son In Law just purchased a new 23D Airstream Trailer for my Daughter and they need help from any of you that can recommend a good solution for the extension of her 2003 Quigley's mirrors . She doesn't care for the looks of the FORD Towing Mirrors even though I explained that a few of you have been pleased with the fit and function of this option . If any of you have any suggestions or opinions please do not hesitate to post them or PM me .Thank you all that took the time to read this post .

Can't say enough good things about how easy it is to install the Ford mirrors. The trick is snagging a set off of EBay.

Of course, they work great also...

Re: Mirrors for the E-350 for Towing

I like the Ford towing mirrors.

Another option is trucker style "West Coast" mirrors.

I used to have some Velvac 20/20 mirrors. Nice features but they don't retract. One of my bases broke on a trail in Moab (vibration I guess.... nothing hit it).

They have a new sleeker model, but still doesn't retract:

Re: Mirrors for the E-350 for Towing

If they are looking for a temporary/removable mirror extension, I've used a set of these CIPA mirrors on my former 2001 E350 while towing a 32ft trailer many times.

Out of the box they look real cheesey, but the guy who sold them to me told me to return them if I didn't like them. They work surprisingly well, are plug-n-play, no tools temporary install and removal.

Re: Mirrors for the E-350 for Towing

I have Powervision mirrors on my 2004 E-350. The previous owner towed an Airstream occasionally behind this SMB. They are power extending mirrors. I think they look good and work well. Powervisionmirrors.com

We have the PowerVision mirrors on our GMC 3500. Visibility is far better with the Ford trailer mirrors, especially when trailering.
