I just did 3600 miles towing a Jeep behind the van and I kinda liked it. I certainly wouldn't do it every trip, but if you plan on setting up camp and wheeling a little, it's great! You certainly wouldn't know that little thing was behind you. Plan carefully at fuel stops, restaurants, etc. I do recommend a rear camera just to keep an eye on things.
That's a great match to your van and if it's in your budget I say go for it.
The only downside I've noticed to something small and older like that is that it's a great little grocery getter but if you are planning on spending all day riding around in it or getting it on the highway, they are less than comfortable. Loud, rough, and cold/hot. Just FYI, your crew may not care. Mine love the Jeep when the weather is good, but they don't really want to ride around in it when it's cold or rainy out.
That said, if I could find one of those in that kinda shape I would jump on it!
