I want THIS trailer

All fiberglass. So very light. And towed it probably goes 2x faster than the original, with no oil leaks!

SMB should sell them in honor of the VW lids they once made.

Re: I want THIS trailer

Probably the coolest trailer I've ever seen.

Re: I want THIS trailer

I wonder if they have to pay a licensing fee to VW.

And I like they sell a rolling shell. You could customize the heck out of it, although I like the minimalist set up they've already designed (see the green one in gallery). Wonder if you could design a penthouse type bed?

Also, they're a British company, see http://dub-box.com. Smart move opening up in Portlandia ville.

These are pretty cool. I saw them at the RV show in Portland last fall. Lots of customization opportunities.

Re: I want THIS trailer

A van-based trailer is a cool idea. I'd like it even more if being towed by the same type of van.

In 2005 during a trip to Yellowstone I recall seeing a trailer made by welding two older GM vans together -- looked nice and professional. It was same principle as these; just a lot larger. I have to admit being tempted to do one based on Econoline van but I've always talked myself out of it for fear it would look "odd". Not the word my wife and son used, implying it wouldn't go over well at many campgrounds.
