Aluminess rear bumper and Trailer wiring...

I need to install the trailer wiring harness on my rear Aluminess bumper. What is the preferred mounting bracket/setup?

I got something like this and just bolted it with the included bracket to the bottom of the bumper, sort of behind the tow hitch bar but off the side.

I had trailer wiring in the position described and scraped it off when dragging tail off road. Admittedly, I do have an extended body van so I remounted in the face of the bumper. See my posting:
