Re: 2005 Sportsmobile, EB, 6.0 L, EGR delete done.

Guys/Gals: I had this off the market for awhile due to an EGR delete (wanting to recoup the funds I spent on it). It's back on. Awesome van for those wanting a non-typical floor plan. The VAN IS LOCATED IN PHOENIX, AZ UNTIL AUGUST 1, 2015. The AC has been fixed and works awesome (necessary in PHX).

If you want to see it let me know.

Thanks!

Re: 2005 Sportsmobile, EB, 6.0 L

Why would you delete the EGR if you are going to try and sell it? That just cut your market potential in half?

Good luck with the sale. That's a nice looking rig.

That may be true if there wasn't a way to have the "check engine light" not be on for an emission test. I'm not a mechanic but that is my understanding of how to "pass" with an EGR delete. Thanks for the positive post!

You can't pass an emission test in most states with the EGR deleted. Maybe with a really, really good PCM tune but some places will also look under the hood to see if the EGR cooler is there. A tune can also turn off the engine check light and/or turn off the EGR valve while leaving the EGR cooler intact.

Anyhow, just trying to be helpful. I also deleted mine but I don't have emissions in my neck of the woods but I have wondered how I would handle the issue if it ever became time to sell my rig.
