Chevy/GMC SMB search suspended for time being

My Chevy/GMC pop up van search has been suspended for summer while we travel.

Will start looking for recent (yr 2004 and above) Chevy/GMC pop up roof van, not ext wheelbase again in the fall.

Thx for all of your help.

(I would delete this posting thread if I knew how to do so.)

Re: WTB newer year Chevy/GMC pop up van

Probably not what you're looking for, but I know of a 2000ish (+/- a year or two) extended body Quigley 4x4 GMC with a 6.5 turbo diesel, poptop, and a homebuilt 50-ish layout that is probably going to be for sale soon. I hate to throw a price out, but seems like he was going to ask about $30k. If it is something you'd be interested in I can put you in touch with him.
cheers,
josh

Re: WTB newer year Chevy/GMC pop up van

Thanks for the tips guys.....I am trying to hold firm on finding the regular WB Chevy van.

The long WB chevy vans are real nice cause they don't have as much body/weight riding out behind the rear axle, like the fords do (which makes the fords hop all over the highway when driving Cali cement, jointed freeways).

But the long WB vans are not nearly as easy to maneuver on narrow forest service roads....

So, my hopes still are focused on a chevy AWD 1500 or 2500 with rear posi, in the regular WB.

As long as it has a pop top roof, I will be interested (can do the interior myself of necessary).

Cheers

It's standard RB50 layout. Propane stove, fride, sink. No furnace.
