2004 big center console tan for trade in denver

hi,
i just bought a 2004 E250 conversion van. i have the biggest available "cup holder" in there. i'm wondering if someone might be interested in swapping that for a smaller one (or even the smallest one available)? i've seen a comparison photo once somewhere but can't find it now.
the thing is in pretty good shape and i have the ashtray insert as well.
preferably i'd like to have a tan one. all black would work as well but not the grey ones.
ideally i'd swap with someone in the denver area so we don't need to spent $$ on shipping.
thanks and cheers,
andreas

I bought a replacement on eBay for ~$50. Might be less hassle

less hassle than meeting at a parking lot and swapping them?
i considered that but didn't came across a small tan one yet. shipping is usually another $25. i also would have 2 consoles then which i find unnecessary.
i might just take a dremel and cut the lower section off here soon.

Before you do that I would watch them for awhile on Ebay. I think the tan ones are pretty rare, I know any tan/beige interior parts for the vans usually are. You might make a lot selling it outright! Then you can find what you want. Anyway, just a thought before you kill it's value with the dremel tool. If it fit a 95 van I would swap you AND pay shipping today! I bet the $50 one mentioned above on Ebay is gray, which is about 1000 times more common in my experience.

yes scotty, i'm watching them on ebay since 4 weeks and haven't seen a single tan one. i'm not 100% sure if it fits a '95. isn't every thing interchangeable from '92 to '08? who knows more on that?
if your console is in decent shape and will fit, i'd take your offer of course.

92-96 doghouses are different from 97+

I like the '09+ consoles the best. Best combo of space and storage.

Yep, they are different.

Just post yours on EBay as an auction. If it doesn't get attention cancel it.

thanks carringb.
i dislike ebay...
i might just go ahead and cut the thing. i do like the top section of it. what bugs me is the bottom part where my feet get entangled every time i try to move around.
i promise, i will make it look decent
