We welcomed another child into the world this past year, which many of you know “alters” your schedule and priorities a little bit, so after much consideration we decided to put our van up for sale. I did a ton of research before committing to the build and spent many hours combing through this forum. I wanted to keep it clean, roomy and simple. I selected Quadvan for their reputation and usage of Ford parts. I chose a regular body van for a “better fit” in parking lots and driveways. I splurged for the electric penthouse top after reading enough forum members lament they hadn’t installed one in the first place, and I’m happy I did. I also made sure to have a lock installed on the XL storage compartment to keep my photo equipment and whatever valuables I have with me safe. The two rear captains chairs can be removed to create more space when you're not hauling around a bunch of people. The interior was done at SMB West. I considered a couple other outfitters which were less costly, but decided to go with SMB West because, when done right, their interiors are hard to beat in my opinion. The van has been babied and gets comments from strangers all the time. The van is currently located in the Bay Area of Northern California.
