1994 7.3 Ford Extended Quigley 4x4 SMB with Agile upgrade

Selling our 1994 SMB Ford Extended 4x4 Quigley with Agile Fox shock upgrade done to it.
Asking $23,000 but all offers will be considered.

Fresno SMB did anything it needed back in october 2013. That included an upgrade to convert
interior lights to LED, replaced converter using 160A Progressive dynamics & charge wizard.

It is and has been a local California vehicle since new. Bought and built at the Fresno SMB.
We are the 2nd owners. I have all the service records since new.
All SMB paperwork for the build and all the manuals are included.
Has 170,000 miles and runs like a champ IMO.
Everything works as it should. I cannot remember what model interior it is.
It has the gaucho sofa/bed behind the drivers seat with the stove and sink on the passenger side.
Has propane, stove, fridge and marine toilet in rear as well as shore power capabilities.
Considering the age of the vehicle it is not without blemishes.
Does not have furnace or hot water.

The passenger door lock has been damaged from someone trying to pry the lock open.
It has not bothered us enough to have it repaired and was that way when we bought it.

My gallery has pictures of my previous SMB's plus some of the 7.3 which is up for sale.
Please see the pic titled indicating 7.3. There are pics of the underneath area as well as
a few of the inside and exterior. I can take extra pictures for those interested.

As mentioned all offers will be entertained. Our goal is to sell the SMB before having
to move it up to our N. CA lake residence where it will be put out to pasture, only being
used to launch lake toys for the rest of it's life.
The family has enjoyed this SMB and hope that someone else will as well.

Re: 1994 7.3 Ford Extended Quigley 4x4 SMB with Agile upgrad

Fellow Forum members----If you think the asking price is too high or too low please PM me
and advise. I did not have anything to compare it to. I placed some added value to account
for how clean it is underneath and not showing any wear and tear or rust which I thought
added to whatever value might be deducted from having the "old style" interior.

As most of you know, selling your SMB is not an easy thing to do emotionally speaking.

UPDATE-- I do think my SMB could use new carpet on the floor. we put down
a runner rug when using the SMB.

One thought is that it would help if you would post some pics to the thread, rather than asking interested parties to go to the gallery and try to figure out which pics are of the van you have for sale.

I'm *definitely* no pricing expert....but any SMB that has the much-desired 7.3L seems like it is an SMB that should hold good value. Being a 4WD as well, and apparently in pretty clean shape (undercarriage looks pretty clean in those pics)....AND with the deft touch of some of the Agile Off-road components......I would think your rig would sell pretty readily at that price.

Dig it!

Priced about right IMO and you're open to offers which is nice. I think it'll go pretty quick. I love the interior. Exterior can be beefed up pretty easy and at that price there's room to make improvements if someone desires. Wish I could switch you interiors. GLWS

It will sell in due time. Price seems fair. Craigslist, that other forum and ebay are great lead generators. Glws copes.

Once quick suggestion for listing the van. If it were me I would take the running boards off and focus your pictures on the other side of the van without the large venting panels.

Cheers

How long until we have proactive businesses trolling sale sites, offering to Photoshop their goods that are for sale?

"Click here to pay $5 for a van without for boards, which by our research sell 50% faster."

Ha.</thought>

Neat rig. List it in Los Angeles Craigslist. It'll sell in a week.

(Lemme know if you want it photoshoots <wink> kidding)

Re: 1994 7.3 Ford Extended Quigley 4x4 SMB with Agile upgrad

Thanks to all who replied and PM'd me. My wife agreed to keep SMB if I put a Shower in rear so
I do not have to let it go for a chinook.

For those looking I suggest you look at RallyPam's 2001 4x4 for sale as I know that SMS and it is well
worth it with all the goodies......

thanks again sorry to those who expressed interest.
