A strong gust of desert wind irretrievably removed the awning from my 1993 E250 Sportsmobile. Really hesitant to spend $1200 to buy a new awning, but live in SoCal, so we need the shade.

I've been using a "Carefree of Colorado-Freedom II" awning for 10years on my old SMB. With brackets and case it only cost $400. If you still have decent brackets you can save $100. Not as nice as others but I didn't want to spend that much on an awning for an old van, mines a 91 E 250. I've used it lots as we winter in Baja every year. Anyhow that price was 10 years ago so probably gone up some. Lance
bump... Still looking for a used 3 meter / 10 foot awning. Almost every Sportsmobile van seems to have one, and seems like there should be one on a recently deceased vehicle that someone would like to get a few hundred dollars for. Thanks.
