Re: 2005 Ford E-350 Diesel 4x4 GTRV (like Sportsmobile) $67,

Do you still have van for sale? Does it have solar panels and if not, could it be added? Where are you located? How do I contact you? I am new to this forum. Thank you

Re: 2005 Ford E-350 Diesel 4x4 GTRV (like Sportsmobile) $67,

Hi Corbin,
Yes, it is available as long as this ad is up. The van is in San Francisco (unless I'm enjoying another trip in the Sierra like last week ;-)

I'll also reply to your separate email questions, feel free to email if you have more:
Quote:
Can you tell me where you are located? I am on the East Coast. Does your van have solar panels, and if not, can that be added easily? Any rust on undercarriage or around engine? Any mechanical or electrical issues? What kind of seat belts do you have in the back? May I ask how much you have invested in the vehicle? Can you keep the top up during high winds and rain?
- The van has always lived in sunny California and has no body rust, see also the photos of the undercarriage in my album.
- There are three seat belts in the back, the middle one is a lap belt
- No mechanical or electrical issues
- Over the past year about $34,000 invested in the upgrades and maintenance listed (and some more small improvements not listed. I'm a bit of a perfectionist ... )
- Yes, the poptop is extremely solid and I never had to take it down due to weather
- It is very easy to add solar panels for $100 or so, as the batteries, cable channel etc. are already in place. I already have a solar charge controller. Never installed solar as the house batteries last 4 days if the fridge and lights are running, and I never camped in one spot longer than that. If I keep the van another season I might add the slim flexible 100W panels just so the fridge can keep running if I go on another weeklong backcountry hike to come back to some cool beers like last week
