Swivel Seat base
Hi Gurus,
I am looking for swivel seat mechanism for Ford 250 1993. Any idea where it can be sourced.
Thanks,
Muhammad Nawaz

Re: Swivel Seat base
Are those decent swivel bases? Seems like the price is too good to be true?
If they're good I'd buy one. If it develops slop and wobble early on in its life then I'll pass...
Can anyone comment on these bases?

Re: Swivel Seat base
Better check the dims of these units compared to your van floor hole pattern and the seat base hole pattern and angle. Making plates and having the proper angle for your seat will have you wishing you purchased one that is specific to your van.
I have installed these in my vans and a couple of friends, the van specific units make it relatively easy.
PM me if you need/want more info.

Re: Swivel Seat base
And just in case someone does not know - the passenger and driver seat bases are not interchangeable. This true because the floor bolt pattern is different, and many of the vans might have a OEM control box mounted under the driver seat that necessitates the box style seat base vs flat plate.
Any interest in a group buy for swivel seat bases?

Re: Swivel Seat base
I don't know about fitment to a '93, but my '97 had both driver and passenger swivel bases from SMB, and I see they sell them individually in their online store ($3xx). I haven't had any others to compare with, but I thought they functioned really well and would buy one again if I had the occasion to.

Re: Swivel Seat base
Passenger swivel base for a 2006 is on my shopping list.
$300 is way to much, potentially in for a group buy.
