vents
In an effort to keep folks as safe as possible, I wanted to share that having an LP Gas appliance vent so close to the gasoline fuel fill could be a real problem. RVIA code calls for at least 36" from edge of an LP Gas appliance vent to the fuel fill (for gasoline chassis).
One way to build the safety back in would be to relocate the fuel fill to the inside front, of the rear wheel well, like some aftermarket fuel tank installs require. I suppose you could also disconnect the propane, but because this is an absorbtion-type refrigerator, and relies on heat to cool the interior, you'd discharge your battery very quickly when operated on 12VDC power mode, or on 110VAC through the inverter (it only has about 10-15% cooling capacity on 12VDC). Perhaps installing one of the nice locking billet fuel fill doors, with a good seal, would do the job too.
This looks like a very clean conversion and someone will get a nice unit, I just wanted to make sure folks were aware of a potential safety issue.
