Finally

I've wanted to take this pic forever. It was worth the wait.

Re: Finally

Another thing crossed off my bucket list this morning. Nothing like sipping good coffee while creeping down Long Canyon with my family.

Re: Finally

very cool!

i dont know if i could do it personally. imma puss when it comes to heights. i just have this fear that the heavyass van would be the final straw that broke the piece i was parked on and everything would be at the bottom of that canyon, lol. dumb, i know. im broken in the head. i love seeing everybodies cliff pix though...if that makes any sense.

have a fun trip!

Re: Finally

Did you drive the White Rim loop.....or did you drive out from town on Potash Road?

I've ridden that loop many times on a bike but have never driven it. It would be a great 2 or 3 day drive!

Re: Finally

Shenrie, these vans are super stable IMO! I'm a lot more comfortable wheeling in one now that I've done it in some pretty technical terrain. I honestly don't know what more I would need.

Brian, the west side of the loop is closed due to flooding but we weren't gonna do the whole thing anyway. Not enough time and no reservations for camping. We camped up top at Horsethief and went about 15 miles down the Schafer Canyon side and back, then came down Long Canyon today on our way out.

Claude, we really lucked out on the weather. Partly cloudy and cool. Forecast was for 90s but it didn't happen. It was getting hot today about the time we left the area.
