460 anybody?
I need a new work vehicle, and have scuffed the inside of the Quigley pretty good using it.
Found this, and pulled the trigger, multiple problems in the first few hours, but a pretty decent PO.

Re: 460 anybody?
Yeah, this van is right up my alley. PO said original paint, but not a scratch on it, so not sure about that.
Also went from a 100% running daily driver! to can't make it out of the driveway while I set at the train station waiting to be picked up, all day!! He's at home poking it with a stick, trying to get it run. Prolly would have sent me on my way without a warning. Still gave him the money, doh!
Looking forward to building out the Quigley .

Re: 460 anybody?
What happened with this?
My first van was a G20 chevy that I got for $600. Guy said he'd "drive it to Florida tomorrow". I'll never forget that phrase- I made it to Texas before having to put an engine in. Kim and I spent two weeks in a retirement RV park tent camped on a cement pad. Picked it up and the thing died during the mechanics test drive with us- however a fuel filter later we were off for several more months and I drove it for several more years as it became a 2nd, 3rd and then 4th vehicle. When it hit slot 5 (not counting Kim's Jeep) I had to donate it because nobody else could appreciate the beauty. Sigh.
So what's going on with your 460?

Re: 460 anybody?
Well, there were some melted wires around the ignition.
So. I had a few hot-no-starts. One at the smog test station......ha ha.
So still no tag. Drives real nice now!!
