^^^ ya, that was a great inexpensive solution for bearings. skateboard truck bolt/nuts also work perfect for repairing all the fold up style chairs, tables, and beds once the rivets blow out too. I keep a small bag of them with the camp gear.

that bed setup was a good idea. ive had buddies make similar setups, but that one with the huge drawer takes the cake for design.

I use old skateboards as moving dollies in the garage. My towbar has a permanent home on one of them when not in use. The really scary thing is it used to be my skateboard.

^^^ vintage bmx and skate gear can be worth a lot more money than you would guess. i sold my old bmxa magazines (1983-1988) on ebay a while back and ended up with 499 bucks after ebay took thier slice. those same mags cost my mom 10 bucks a year back then. i wont even go into what i got for my bmx bike from that same era...
