I don't know if this is the right place, BUT...

SO, I have an idea. I see SMB's all over the place, and wonder if they are people with whom I have spoken here on the forum, or if they are a member on the forum. I think I'm going to make a sticker that has my "handle" on it and put it on my van. That way if someone sees my van they can say, "Oh, that's c7train's van!" I think it would be a cool way to meet people while we are out and about. It would avoid the, "Are you on the SMB Forum?" question so we can get right to talking vans! Thoughts?

Re: I don't know if this is the right place, BUT...

Great idea! Kinda like ham radio handles on vehicles.
(My handle is already on my van(s). Please feel free to say hi when you come across it, err them...)
Go Giants!

Mine to! There is a large "VivaLaVida!" sticker over the rear cargo doors and a vanity plate "VIVALV" on the front bumper...

Re: I don't know if this is the right place, BUT...

How many obnoxious tangerine-ish plasti-dipped vans are out there?

We considered adding our website, it's our user name with .com at the end, but then got to talking about cyber stalking with some Pan-Am veterans. We might get some signs or such while still in the US but many suggest not having something permanent once heading south of the border. Even though many travelers post about a location after they leave, it doesn't take much to isolate out a general area. Same goes for making your travel maps public, the ones DeLorme and Spot provide as part of their service. We've only heard of one sketchy story, we didn't validate it though, so who knows. Word on the street is pretty much every non US citizen has their details all over their overland vehicles. We were originally thinking window wraps.

Thanks! We need to take some new photos but there are some on our Expo East page.

Some interior photos are spread out in our blog and on Instagram (the easiest way to flip through them). We are just getting back to building out the interior, definitely gonna be like or hate.

Re: I don't know if this is the right place, BUT...

Jage made some magnets with the QR code for the forum a while back, but apparently the magnets caused some paint damage to a couple vans. I thought switching it to vinyl decals would be a good alternative.
