Sporty wedding cake

Hi team Sportsmobile,

Merry Christmas from St. Martin, FWI.

On December 23rd Leggz and I were married in an intimate Christmas setting back in Ontario followed by a magical reception in a local bistro. Fine food and 32 guests made it the perfect night.

Anne had our favourite craft brewery do a short run of 5 cases with a congratulatory custom label for us. She revealed them as a surprise to me and our guests during her speech. I was amazed.

The traditional wedding cake was not in the cards for Leggz so she found a bakery to make this cake:

Note the Christmas theme with Pint in a reindeer getup. A dusting of snow on the bride and groom all sitting above the nature scene with the 30 year old Dodge 4x4 Sporty featured front and centre. You can't imagine how impressed we all were with the attention to detail put forth by people who had never seen anything but a photo of a Sporty. The cake is entirely edible right down to the photo and the rocks (marzipan!)

We left early on the 24th for our honeymoon and celebrated my birthday and Christmas in a great restaurant above the beach on the 25th.

We are very much in love and look forward to even more adventures in our married life.

Happy New Year! It's time to hit the beach.

Regards,

Gavin and Anne

Sweet cake. Did you save some for the honeymoon? Congratulations. Hope you both enjoy the sun and the sand.
