Bill Burke van trip (29 June - 3 July)

Adventure Vans in the Rockies
June 29-July 3. $1050/rig.
Limit 5. 3 open spots.
This trip will cover an assortment of roads and scenery in the Colorado High Country. We will travel from Grand Junction through Glenwood Springs and cover terrain on the Grand Mesa - which is the world's largest volcanic mesa - then head over to the Flat Tops area which offers a slightly different look of the mountains. We will camp "remote" two nights in each area but different spots as we move along at a fun leisurely pace. There will be a few challenge spots for the vans so you won't get bored!

We will have a chance to re-provision mid-week during the trip but will mostly be away from any services.

Required: tough, aggressive 33" tires, frame-mounted recovery points, ample ground clearance (steps/air dams may take a hit), CB radio, self-sufficient camping equipment, adventurist attitude! No Syncros.

Trip will start in Grand Junction; end near Glenwood Springs, CO.

Re: Bill Burke van trip (29 June - 3 July)

checking dates to see if we're here.....I want to go, will let you know. Assuming because of the price this is a full on Bill Burke course, filled with recovery techniques and off-roading skills? Do we sign up with you? didn't see this trip on his website.
Oh bummer! we have been putting together an England trip for next summer and it looks like we leave July 1, maybe next time, been wanting to take one of his courses and not all are geared towards vans. have fun!

I have nothing to do with this course, I just received an email from them announcing it. Best thing to sign up is call Rachel.
