The 20 Greatest Engineering Feats of 2014

This is a cool article: The 20 Greatest Engineering Feats of 2014

Originally caught my eye because of the solar technologies (#s 17 & 2), but how about self-healing penthouse tops (#10)? (Okay, I'm stretching it a bit to relate this to vans. Still cool IMO.)

Cheers,
Brent

Re: The 20 Greatest Engineering Feats of 2014

Here are two more........although these have been developed before 2014....

The first one is about 3D printing human organs (The company that I work for has developed a kidney printer for Dr. Atala although I think the one in the video is not ours...we have also developed technology to grow replacement body parts in the lab)

This one is the wildest in my opinion.......Angela Belcher and her team at MIT have genetically modified viruses and bacteria to assemble carbon nanotubes and make batteries and solar cells.
