The World's Smallest Car Meets Ford's Biggest Van

The all-new 2015 Ford Transit features more cargo space than competing vans from Chevrolet and Ram, with up to 15.1 cubic-meters of space in Europe and 487 cubic-feet of space in the U.S. How big is that? Find out when the world's smallest production car, the Peel P50, meets Ford's biggest van! This video brought to you by Benny Hill Ford

Nice. It was my understanding that the Peel did not have a reverse gear. The one the Top Gear boys drove around the BBC office did not have one. The one in the video must have been the top of the line model with the optional reverse gear package.

Re: The World's Smallest Car Meets Ford's Biggest Van

I had never seen or heard of a Peel P50 until i watched the video. So after a little research i read that the Peel used in the video is an EV replica with reverse.(As you stated) the original Peel had no reverse. The Peel makes my old Triumph Spitfire look huge!

Now that you mention it, the I saw on Top Gear was had a 2 stroke engine and was spewing a cloud of white smoke behind it.
