When good just isn't good enough 700hp Shelby Raptor

No affiliation (dammit)

It’s no secret that the Ford F-150 SVT Raptor has been arguably the most important off-road pickup truck of the decade but that hasn’t stopped aftermarket tuning companies from hopping up the Ford SVT Raptor for more power and better overall performance for the ultimate off-road beast.

Shelby American just announced that it will be offering a limited run of the most powerful truck in their history, the Shelby Baja 700! The Baja 700 is built on the 2011-2014 Ford SVT Raptor and features over 700 horsepower, competition suspension and a set of the new BFGoodrich All-Terrain T/A KO2 tires.

The Shelby Baja 700 makes an astounding 700hp thanks to a 2.9-liter Whipple Supercharger mounted on the big 6.2-liter V-8 engine. The engine breathes deep thanks to bigger throttle bodies and injectors and screams to life thanks to the Borla exhaust system. A serious heat exchanger keeps the temperatures in check when prerunning at high speeds in the dirt.

In addition, the special edition graphics, badging, classic Shelby striping, 18-inch custom wheels and optional Rogue Racing front and rear bumpers, will visually set it apart from any other truck on the road.

If you want to own the ultimate Raptor with horsepower figures in the 700 range, you can expect a price tag that starts at $45,000 for the limited edition Shelby Baja 700, not including the base Raptor. Unfortunately, only 50 will be available so you’ll have to dig deep in your pockets quick to get one of these beasts. Of course you can also expect each Shelby Baja 700 Raptor to be numbered and documented with a unique Shelby CSM number and entered into the official Shelby Registry.

Re: When good just isn't good enough 700hp Shelby Raptor

love these trucks. ive been hinting around to some of the other drivers at our local rallyxs that i really want to drive one, but no one has bit and offered. i havent even been able to bum a ride in one yet. i think it might have something to do with the majority of them getting their badass trucks beatdown by a chump in a 89 civic stationwagon
