Early Fords.

I suppose we owe our SMB's a bit of respect for evolving from this. Very interesting video about Ford, but the ending is awesome!

Re: Early Fords.

Amazing vehicles. I wonder if these were converted by U-Joint's grandpappy.

Re: Early Fords.

Hi,

Topic thief!

My grandfather, grandmother and another couple used to ski behind his model T.

The two men would throw the chains on the rear tires, hitch up to the rear bumper with water ski ropes, put on their snow skis, install the ladies in the cab, and be off for prairie skiing.

He said it was great fun until one or both fell off. The talkative ("yacking") ladies would drive on without realizing what had happened. The men would sit at the side of the road freezing their n*ts off in a Manitoba winter waiting for the girls to turn around and retrieve them.

Try that today!

Regards,

Gavin
