Parking at a Casino in Vegas?
I have a trip coming up. I will be there for a week and the wife is having a girls weekend the weekend after so need to stay gone. Was thinking of driving The Yeti so I could camp after trip. Anyone know how safe it would be? I think I am staying at the Bellagio.

Call them up to see if they have an open lot you could park in while staying there, usually the casinos have a delivery or bus/semi parking lot for performers, sometimes off lot.

Re: Parking at a Casino in Vegas?
REF,
They do have parking, just don't know how safe it is. Was hoping someone could let me know. The garage is 7'4" so a little short. They said it is right behind the garage.

No personal experience, but it's in the casino's best interest to not have any bad experiences or bad publicity, so I would think they take parking lot security, even behind the casino, very seriously.
FWIW, Circus Circus has an RV park if that would make you feel more secure.

Re: Parking at a Casino in Vegas?
Just valet it. They might keep it in the front since its too tall to park in any of the garage space. Most casinos will have a coral near the entrance where they keep the exotics.

Re: Parking at a Casino in Vegas?
Quite a few RV'ers park/camp at casinos. As such, if they have RV camping/parking you might be able to park in that section. I haven't stayed at one in Vegas, but I have stayed at a few other casinos around the US, and security seems to drive by every ten minutes or less. You might look on www.casinocamper.com and see what folks have to say for reviews or options.

Re: Parking at a Casino in Vegas?
I called Bellagio again and they reassured me that it would be safe. I will try and set up my solar panel to keep batteries charged. I don't know why it sitting in a parking lot outside bothers me, but taking it on week long trips in the same weather does not. I can always check on it mid week.

Yes, I wouldn't worry.. Remember, all casinos have the goal to make you stay inside as long as possible.. If folks are worried about their RVs getting stolen or broken into, they don't stay inside long. So I'm sure the parking is visibly secure with regular patrols.
