Lil steep because of shipping. About $40 shipped. Might make sense to buy 2 to spread shipping costs.

If you get a chance can you post the true measurements? I'm having my Aluminess rear box rebuilt and those might be worth building around.

Nice meeting you Dave. Hope you make Anza.

As you already know my rig is at SMB, so I can't measure it till Friday.

It's the same as this one:

Hola! My official introduction - 2002 White SMB EB50 7.3 4x4

Toddler and dog keeping me up late. Felt like adding some pics.

Just added some creature comforts. Smb west installed the 110v 2.5 gallon water heater and Bullfinch exterior shower.

I then bought a Thetford electronic flush porta potti.

Self contained now and the wife appreciates not having to go out in the middle of the night to tinkle.

Water heater gets pipping hot. Stable heat and the tank even retains heat for quite awhile. Shore power or Honda 2000 are energy sources for it. About 10-15 min of it turned on and its hot. I really like the idea of heating the tank in advance for later use.

1st Bullfinch shower hose leaked at the mixing dial. 2nd one leaked at the shower head. I mixed and matched to get one good unit. Per Jacks advice I went to a hardware store and bought a hose extension with female connections on both ends. Added a 1/2 PVC nipple and viola, doubled the length of the shower hose.

Thetford is pretty well built. Feels sturdy enough to sit on when not in use. Doubles as a leg rest too. I like the locking lid latch, electronic flush, and the no-waste-touching feature when disposing of the waste tank.

Trasharoo added. Saw Rawdawg with one and had to have it.

Got 2 bundles of wood in there now.

So Jacko, I see you did get them to mount the panel like mine. What was their reasoning for telling you they couldn't?

I guess he remembered doing your rig after I showed him pics of yours (I took pics of your rack, no pun intended, while we were both at smb west). I have OCD and after examining it this morning I'm not 100% happy with it. The rack bows out to allow room to install the panels sideways. It's not straight the full length of it.

Let me know if I'm unreasonable for expecting more from this $1800+ roof rack.
