I'm in the process of converting my 2001 V10 E350 over to 4x4 and looking to rebuild my 4R100. For those that have done this before, do you recommend any specific Rebuild Kits and/or part numbers for Output Shafts and Extension Housing.....or has anyone been successful swapping in a 4r100 4x4 from an excursion or f250/350 and gotten lucky on all the lines/sensors? Just starting the research the cost difference between rebuild vs buying an already built transmission from a reputable source vs one from a parts truck that may need rebuild down the road.....just curious which route others have been successful at and would recommend.
