4x4 DIY Kits compatible with 2013+ Dana 60 axles
Hello all,
My Project is stuck, already bought the above axle and realized that Ujoint's updated kit is not compatible with the newer axles because of trac bar mount changes. Contacted Expo van, but they don't have a DIY kit designed for Ford 6.0 diesel.
Do you'll know of any other vendors, I can contact? Again only looking for DIY kits.
Thank you

ford used the same track bar for 06-16, what did he change in his kit that makes it different?
i bought his kit just over 6 months ago and it worked great with my 2013 axles...but we already discussed my conversion. did you find out what he does differently now?

Ya, I followed up with him with your pics. He has changed/updated the design last month I believe and that renders the new axle incompatible with the trac bar mount. Think he upgraded to remedy "death wobble" complaints. There's an update video on his site as well.

it looks like its the steering knuckle that is different where he is attaching the new steering linkage. too bad he won't sell you a kit with the previous version of the steering. you might be able to not use his steering and track bar since he didn't change his track bar mount, and stick with the stock ford stuff.

"Ford changed the brakes and unit bearing on 2012.5 and later SuperDuties so newer trucks must convert to the earlier hardware in order to use the Reid Racing highsteer knuckle."
looks like he is doing the same thing as Reid racing offers for high steering: Reid Racing 60 Knuckle

bummer, since the newer brakes are definitely better. my previous van had the 06-10 setup, and my new one is a 2013. had a panic stop on the last trip due to traffic coming to a sudden stop, and stopped just fine.

MG to the white courtesy phone please.
My understanding is Chris (UJOR) modified the MG kits he was reselling - which looks like it then prevents the newer axles from being used.
Maybe Michael (MG) can chime in.

I believe Expo Van and MG are same people? If that is correct they do not sell DIY kits for Ford 6.0 diesel yet, it will have to be sent in to their shop for the built.

If I was in you position, I'd give Chris from Ujor a call. I'd be surprised if he couldn't figure out some way to make what you have work.
