Same thing on my 02 Quigley. Long end is a Quigley specific part number.

That's why I want to build my own tie rod and then use off the shelf ends at both sides.

Well I got LONG tie rod end from FORD and it works I also talked to few old techs at ford (with I also worked for years ago) and they said that there is no difference in performance or longevity between actual Quigley and regular OEM part. So if you think about this is an Dana axle with that it's been used in trucks I don't see why you wouldn't be able to use same parts on a van. I will keep you guys posted down the rod how this is working out but so far so good
