Presumably a full float from an ‘09 forward f350 should be a reasonably clean swap?

You will need a 2011 or newer F250 axle because of RSC. I don't think the F350 got RSC until 2014. Basically, make sure the new axle has outboard speed sensors and 2 brake hoses coming off the axle, rather than been teed into a single hose.

Don't the 2013 and newer Sterlings have bigger brakes then the previous years?

So I found a full float Dana 70 out of a 2014 e350 with 4:10’s in it albeit not sure open or LSD but has the disc brakes already. Presumably a pretty straight upgrade albeit I suspect hub size will be bigger than 125 which is my current wheel set up? Width and spring perches etc should all line up?

This will be a direct drop-in. Hub diameter is the same. But beware it's 5" wider, and you'll still need the wheel adapters to match your front bolt pattern. Also... make sure it's not from a dually. Sometimes the wrecking yards aren't so good with their descriptions or cataloging.

Comes from a single they verified that and they gave me the VIN so will double check with the dealer. Trying to understand the RSC issues as it seems to have been a cut away vehicle originally and may or may not have been configured.
Width was one of those things I was working on next - 5 inches is huge - seems like zero offset rims needed instead of the negative 12 I have currently to pull the width back otherwise am well beyond my bushwhackers

Based upon what I see here on the brake line junction this seems to be a 3 and not 4 circuit ABS so no RSC compatibility for my application - am I looking at it correctly?

Can you get any more pics? The important piece to verify is that is has outboard wheel speed sensors, which will be poking through the brake backing plates.

Unfortunately whoever took those pics is smart-phone challenged.... it's too blurry to see any detail. All I can suggest at this point, is to verify the outboard speed sensors in person.
